Bức ảnh được nhà hàng Masala Mantra Indian Bistro (ở thành phố Cape Coral, bang Florida, Mỹ) chia sẻ lên Facebook cho thấy, hóa đơn cho bữa ăn của nhóm thực khách trên chỉ là 269,51 USD (tương đương hơn 6 triệu đồng). Song họ đã 'mạnh tay' để lại 2.020 USD (khoảng hơn 46 triệu đồng) tiền boa cho nhân viên phục vụ tên Dawn.

Hóa đơn ghi số tiền boa 'khủng' được nhà hàng Masala Mantra Indian Bistro chia sẻ trên Facebook.

Thông báo của nhà hàng Masala Mantra Indian Bistro đăng trên Facebook viết rằng: “Chúng tôi không thể ngừng mỉm cười và cảm thấy mừng cho Dawn. Xin Chúa phù hộ cho nhóm người tử tế này”.

Sự việc này xảy ra ngay trước thềm năm mới. Số tiền boa này được coi như một quà may mắn đầu năm dành cho nhân viên phục vụ tên Dawn.

Cách đó một tuần, nhà hàng South Shore Pizza ở thành phố Ruskin, bang Florida, cũng chia sẻ câu chuyện về một thực khách đã để lại khoản tiền boa 2.020 USD. Tuy nhiên, vị khách này yêu cầu số tiền boa trên phải được chia đều cho mọi nhân viên của nhà hàng South Shore Pizza, nghĩa là mỗi nhân viên nhận được khoảng 80 USD.
